Ingredients

  • cup ketchup
  • cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper; heating until simmering. Cook, stirring often, 5 minutes or until flavors are melded and sauce is thickened to your liking.

Notes

Sauce can be covered tightly and refrigerated up to 2 weeks or frozen up to 3 months.
